The Facing Earth Project aims to find value in the simple things around us and take the time to appreciate their beauty and complexity.
Each photograph is printed exclusively at a true 1:1 scale, inviting viewers to discover the art hidden in every inch—just as it appears in the real world, if only we take the time to notice.
Facing Earth originated long before the advent of AI. Yet today, the project can be understood as an invitation to return to the real—to rediscover the value contained within the single square metre before us: life, death, time, energy.
Everything is there.
Creating each work often means spending hours in a single location, observing the changing light, weather, textures, scents, and sounds. The aim is not simply to reproduce a place, but to evoke its atmosphere and reconnect the viewer with something more primal and essential: our senses and how they shape our perception.
The life-size print seeks to reactivate that experience—to bring the viewer back into
a direct encounter with the physical world.
