Facing Earth Project
A life-size photographic vision of the world.
This project was born out of a particular artistic concern: how great would it be to have a portion of the world in front of our eyes just as it really is, with the same size and detail that one would see when looking down upon it in real life. A photographic vision of the world on a 1:1 scale.

Each work is composed by multiple photographic shots that reconstruct that experience.
Sometimes we don't need to look far to find what we are looking for: is just beneath our feet or in front of our eyes, waiting to be discovered. We only have to take a closer look. The detail in these photos invites you to take that closer look.
The work is completed when hung. Being composed of numerous photos, they can be framed in one or several manners, “complete” or “incomplete”: hung in the "natural" order or in infinite combinations and arrangements. Thus, the work is completed by the final recipient and, if framed separately, it may even be modified in the future and indefinitely by changing the order or arrangement of the photos.
